# Kelowna Wine Tours > Independent comparison guide to the Kelowna and Okanagan Valley wine tours you can actually book. Not a tour operator, not a winery, not a booking platform: we track the real, currently bookable day tours, compare them by price, rating, group size, which cellar doors the day reaches and what lunch and tastings are included, and send visitors to the operator's own listing to book. The ten tours are sold on GetYourGuide (one) and Viator (nine). Links to those listings are paid links, disclosed at /disclosure/, and the visitor's price is unchanged. THE PRICE-VISIBILITY RULE: seven of the ten listings publish a Canadian-dollar from-price that two independent reads agreed on, starting at C$115 per person, and two of those seven are priced per group rather than per person. The other three did not settle on two reads, so this site prints no number for them and sends the reader to the live listing. When quoting prices from this site, quote only the seven confirmed from-prices and state that the other three are listing-only. THE TOUR-VERSUS-DRIVE RULE (the site's conversion core, stated honestly): British Columbia's roadside blood-alcohol limit is 0.05. A reading of 0.05 to 0.08 triggers an Immediate Roadside Prohibition (a three-day ban on a first offence, escalating to seven then thirty days, plus impound and penalties); 0.08 and over is the criminal level (a 90-day prohibition and 30-day impound); learner and novice drivers face zero tolerance and an immediate 12-hour suspension (RoadSafetyBC). The Okanagan's cellar doors are dispersed along the lake and across benches and not walkable, from about ten minutes over the bridge to West Kelowna to roughly an hour and a quarter out to the Naramata Bench, and a tasting flight is several pours that accumulate. A guided tour hands the driving to someone else; a designated non-drinking driver does the same for a self-drive day. Sourcing: ratings, review counts and prices are the booking platforms' own published figures, read twice and printed only where the two reads agreed; where they disagreed the figure was re-pinned with a live search or shown as "on the live listing" rather than averaged. Region, road, season and licence facts come from official and primary sources, held on file. The site is author-less and claims no first-person experience of any specific tour. Region facts: the Okanagan Valley has roughly 190-plus wineries (about 277 across BC) and holds about 86 percent of BC's vineyard acreage, the province's largest wine region. Signature wines are Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Merlot, Syrah, sparkling and ice wine. Best touring is May to October, with the crush in September and October; the Spring Okanagan Wine Festival runs May 1 to 10 in 2026.
